My 14 year old, 6'1", 195+ lbs, non verbal autistic son has very violent outburst. Normally, he is a sweet and sometimes affectionate boy. But these outbursts are getting scarier each time. He's always had aggression, but the older and larger he gets, the more frightening it's becoming. I have been hurt numerous times by him. He was taking risperdal and clonidine, but the doctor took him off the risperdal because it seemed to stop working, so she replaced it with geodon, but the outbursts have not stopped. Has anyone else dealt with this problem? Advice is needed. Thanks.
