My 14 year old, 6'1", 195+ lbs, non verbal autistic son has very violent outburst. Normally, he is a sweet and sometimes affectionate boy. But these outbursts are getting scarier each time. He's always had aggression, but the older and larger he gets, the more frightening it's becoming. I have been hurt numerous times by him. He was taking risperdal and clonidine, but the doctor took him off the risperdal because it seemed to stop working, so she replaced it with geodon, but the outbursts have not stopped. Has anyone else dealt with this problem? Advice is needed. Thanks.

I tried it all. Sitting it out will just get it back to me sometime. Only way to release steam is to talk about it or get told that i didnt worsen it. What should i do? I will not go to a therapist for some guilt feelings. Ive asked on multiple forums about this trouble. This one was the best forum by far. Thanks to you, guys! But what should i do? I cant get this obsession out of my head.
