I'm just curious...I would love to have another baby soon(hopefully a GIRL!!),but I'm not sure how that'll work. Not only is my son autistic but he's also an only child and somewhat spoiled(I know it's my fault). I test him to see how he is with other babies. HE'S MEAN! Taking pacifiers, patting roughly on the head, pulling arms, pushing off the bed. While spending time at his father's he got ahold of some sewing needles and stuck them in his 1yr old cousin's back. It goes without saying that I have to keep an eye on him around a new baby...I think you have to with any toddler and newborn. But I worry about his behavior-getting jealous and aggressive or being out in public and me holding this small baby and trying to catch up with him at the same time. A couple friends acted surprised when I told them I wanted another child. "You'd actually have another baby after the way he turned out??"...That was the insensitive comment made by one person.I may need to wait a little longer.I just want some feedback from other moms who've taken that BOLD step. What were your concerns and was it as bad as you thought it would be?
