Autism is classified as a neurodevelopmental disorder which manifests itself in markedly abnormal social interaction, communication ability, patterns of interests, and patterns of behavior. Although the specific etiology of autism is unknown, many researchers suspect that autism results from genetically mediated vulnerabilities to environmental triggers.

i'm so proud of sam. For a week that started out very badly, it's actually ending on a good note. Ever since we started the extra occupational therapy, he has been attempting to do more and more things and I think he's actually proud of himself. Tonight, he actually participated in a holiday presentation that his class did for the holidays for an actual audience, singing and everything. i am truly amazed by him now. It's moments like these that makes me very proud. I just wanted to share. I hope that everyone had a good day.

Catching up now is not going to be easy but that total points could be a game changer. So Kiddies, here...
