Did anyone else see the segment on Good Morning America with the autistic man? I found it very informative that he was able to take numbers and use that to relate to people and emotions. It did make me sad to hear him say that having autism (paraphrasing here) is something like having a fractured soul. I was so impressed with his ability to relate to Diane Sawyer during the interview. I truly hope that researchers gain more insight from this amazing man. It is a great comfort to me to see someone with autism as a grown individual interacting in the world.
