I am letting everyone know what I have found to help my daughter. I am sure by now everyone has seen the commercials for the v-smile by vtech. Let me tell you, we got our daughter one for Christmas and since then she has been playing it like a mad girl. It is an education based video game system and is farely inexpensive to buy. It comes with a game and the controller is large and bulky and is easy for her hands to use. Large buttons and bright colors. She has never been able to sit and play a game before because she has motor skill problems but this is so easy for her. It keeps her attention and helps with her patience. And above all else, it is educstional and the games teaches her an array of different thinking skills, letters, numbers and logic skills. The games are based on popular cartoon characters and it is so fun to see her enjoy something. I thought I would pass this along to all the rest of you. I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
