I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to encourage ASD children with eating new foods. My daughters diet is so limited and I was wondering if there were any good tips on how to expand her palate. Currently she eats cheese, bread, macaroni and cheese, strawberry applesauce, watermelon, just about any type of cereal or crackers, pretzels and pudding. My husband often jokes that she is on a \'french diet\' of bread and cheese because that is her staple. She is healthy, no anemia and is very tall for her age and within appropriate weight. I would be intersted in hearing about any food tips that have been tried that focus on positive reinforcement.
