My neice that I have mentioned is in need of a brain scan. My sister-in-law has recently been laid off and no longer has health insurance. I speak with my sis-in-law about my neice alot and am her main support. My brother works but the insurance is not affordable. My neice goes to OT PT and ST. She is in special classes and has been evaluated to be at the level of a 3 1/2 year old. After discussing this site and the possibility of autism with her, she mentioned all of these things with the PDOC. A brain scan has been recommended but now finances are not available. They are in Wisconsin and have been told that they also do not qualify for public med. assist. Does anybody know of any organizations or anything that may be able to help so that my neice can get the testing that she needs?
