Autism / Autism Spectrum Support Group
Autism is classified as a neurodevelopmental disorder which manifests itself in markedly abnormal social interaction, communication ability, patterns of interests, and patterns of behavior. Although the specific etiology of autism is unknown, many researchers suspect that autism results from genetically mediated vulnerabilities to environmental triggers.

Has anyone use FC learning with their children? I was reading up on it earlier this evening and became intrigued by the responses of those with autism. I know Alex's teacher is working with him on the computer, yet this method seems so cool! I read stories written by individuals themselves, how people thought they were dumb, void, and unresponsive, the entire time they said 'I was wondering about you too, how dumb you act' Wow! Uh...... thats' something! One woman even went to college and , well I must say......makes me look dumb, lol, anyway......it may be an option an alternative learning style. Any chance for help in Algebra, grrr...............

Hope all you kiddies enjoyed the Wildcard games (I did not). We now move onto the Divisional games. These are worth 4 points each and an extra 4 points for picking the winner AND the total points scored in that game. Not an easy task. Think it was hit last year twice (Wingman can tell you better then me). We have 4 games to play this week. Not going to be easy either. Here are your...

So get your thinking caps on and make your picks. Just remember these games are worth 2 points each and 1 for each games' total points correctly picked and I...
I can't remember where I got this link... Might have even been here but this looks interesting and not too expensive
As far as algebra, I remember 35 years ago when I took it. Needless to say it was before computer. I had to take college chemistry twice to pass with a high 'c' but I know about the basics enough to understand what I need to in the present. I have seen computer tutorial programs, but the trick with algebra is that you need to learn it step by step, and if you don't get it get a tutor or ask your teacher. If you can spend time during the break to do the first few chapters before the next sessions even starts, then do what you can to stay ahead of the lessons, so you have the lecture as a review, rather than a introduction. Algebra is another way to think, so just be REALLY OPEN MINDED to another way to look at life. It is more than math in that regard, it is the way the world turns... oh no wonder it is like a soap opera..
Hand in there.. YOU ARE DOING IT!!
