I have a two year old nephew. Who is starting to concern me. He turned two in June and still doesnt talk in full sentences. He can say some words like bye, mom, dad and choo for train. When he wants something he just points and expects you to get it.. I dont have a problem with this but i try to get him to sort of tell me what you want by giving him choices. Eventually i tell him to tell me what he wants and not give into his pointing he gives up lays down on the ground and gives up with what he wants. Im not asking for him to say the word correctly just a hint at what he wants. I know some two year olds talk later and not all talk in full sentences but im really starting to get concerned that this could be something more. When you talk to him on the phone he doesnt say anything at all just kind of mumbles but you dont know what he is saying. He also can not do basic shapes, colors, or most numbers. Thanks for advice or stories.
