Well P, I have known many people whom say that they are not going to put up their things, watnots, etc. because of their children and that in fact, they must teach them not to touch them. I think that is fine, don't get me wrong , but with Alex, it just dosen't work. I have tried many ways to have my home in a nice orderly fashion, he just can't stand it! I guess over the years I tuckered out and just realized that I could spend my day running behind him, or just keep things out of sight out of mind. I will say you should try it! I mean This may not be the case with Adam! Ultimately, you will not know until ya at least try! Start with a couple though. I know Alex would have the whole tree on the floor just to get to them, lol! Sad to say, we are not even putting a tree up! The shack just cant handle the juice required! And a tree is no fun without lights!

hi, maybe you could have a really csmall gift each day (i mean, like a pack of raisins, or youknow...something cheap that he would like) with his name on and the dat to be opened each day, like an advent present! then, put all the xmas day ones together with the xmas date on them, using, of course, your wonderful skills to teach him not just about patience, but the reward for not touching the others, is to get the one you can? also, he then will not feel so desperate, maybe? dunno, just an idea. if i get a brainwave, i will let you know!

I can't have a big tree either. I have a small one up high out of reach. Though I may wrap presents early, I don't put them out until Christmas day. My kids could not stay out of them.

the tree isnt an issue with adam, the puppy might get the newspaper a few times over it lol, but adam donest care about the tree, its the presents! he thinks he is suppose to open them all, i am thinking about the small gift everyday thing, but wonder if that will be enough to distract him from the other gifts. thanks for the suggestions!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
