Change in speech - help!

Hi - my son is 3 1/2 and on the spectrum. He was recently diagnosed and has started speech and OT. In the past few weeks his speech has changed. He used to say "I want milk." Now he says "I want mi- milk." Basically for every noun - he pronounces the first part and then says the word - do yo think this has to do with getting speech and they are articulating the words for him?? Am I describing this right for everyone to understand?? I'm feeling like this is just another thing to worry about with him (add it to the ongoing list!) Can anyone offer any encouragement? Thank you!!!!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I think he is practicing too.
Really pronouning the M's ask his speech what they are working on. Im glad hes talking!!
