As of recently my son just started this strange behavior. He acts perfectly fine and then when we walk into school, Hop Skip and Jump class, or even a birthday party, he decides to crumble to the floor and says he wants to lie there. I don't know if he is doing it for attention or not. I was trying to pick him up off the floor but he got even worse so I just walk away and ignore him. Eventually he gets up but it takes awhile. It's a little embarrassing b/c everyone is looking at him wondering what's wrong and people try to get involved which makes the matter worse. I tell them to ignore him and I get looks like I am a horrible mom or something. Have any of you experience this?
