My son of three whom is undergoing assesment for asd at the moment is getting really bad when visitiors come to our house. I have read about autistic children being anxious in social situations. But because we have no diagnosis of yet some people are saying its normal attention seeking behaviour. He gets really agitated and agressive towards me and hiself for no reason but I think its more than just that. When visitors have gone hes completly back to normal and calm and doesnt want my attention. Could it be anxiety? Whats the difference in anxiety and just normal attention seeking behaviour?
