adam had his first buddyball game tonight. he loved it. the problem is he cant stop stimming long enough to participate. he wants to, you can see he wants to, but he cant. he smiled the entire time, and even tried to throw the ball a few times and did real well for a kid that had never done anything like that before. i did tell the buddy to rub his shoulders and whenever she did he would stop for a few short seconds but as soon as she stopped he started again. it was really hard stimming, as hard as i have ever seen him stim. what do i do? is there something i need to tell the buddy to be doing for him? the place is loud and fast and chaotic but he did love it. i need to help him help himself, any ideas???
