Hello, I have not been on the board lately because I've been working on other self improvements preparing for the next school year. I'm a recent graduate of education for students with exceptionalities. My heart is in working with high school age students. While I love working with all students, I think every teacher has a dream of where they want to focus their energy, and mine is with the trainable mentally handicap and those with autism. I think I have many good qualities such as being an advocate for my students as well as just being a kind natured and patient individual. What qualities do parents want to see in a teacher for their children with special needs?
