happy new year!im wondering if you guys can give me some info.im wondering where i can find a addvocate for IEP who does not work for the school and if possible free.i live in michigan so any one around here have any numbers that would be great.im also wondering i have heard about autism lawyers is this diffrent than an addvocate.if so can you tell me how.is it important to have these(addvocate and lawyer)the reason i ask.im pretty sure i need a addvocate im kind of young i guess you can say im a push over.i just agree with whatever the school or doctors say and that is that.im learning to change this.if any one can explain to me about the addvocate and lawyers that would be of great help to us.oh i have a IEP comming up for our son.if i should grt a addvocate should i tell the teachers about it.or should i just surprize her.i dont want to piss anyone off.i still have to go up there every day and look at them.well best wishes to you all this new year. chrystal

I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
