I was just wondering if anyone on this site has used ABA with their children. I have been told that it is intensive treatment of about 30 hours per week for the child, for the cost of $30,000 for the year. I would rather not spend that amount of money, but if it's going to be better for my son in the long run I will definitely make that investment. The people who run the program said that with early intervention you only get about an hour of speech per week and an hour of OT which he has been doing for the past 8 months, but for better results the ABA program is more effective. Any advice would be great.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
