OK, I have a real problem. I need help and advice please. Many of you know that I have a little boy Brett 3 years old PDD-NOS/Hyperlexic. Our neuro developmental was very impressed wtih his progress and feels that if anything in a couple of years the pdd-nos will go away and we will have to deal with an anxiety disorder. Not that that is a piece of cake. Anyway last week at school I spoke with the psychologist about the anxiety issues and she told me that it was typical. Well she called me today and now expresses concern about the anxiety. Brett is in a pre-school disabled class for 3.5 hours and then an inclusive preschool for 2.5 hours. Everytime I ask how Brett is doing they tell me he is doing GREAT!!!! We have not had any communication book all year and when I ask for one they tell me they are working on it. If there were a problem then I wouldn't have know anyway. I am so upset and pissed off that this is a big surprise all of a sudden. As I said they always tell me how great he is doing. Brett is now learning incidentally but is very anxious throughout the day. The school pshychologist told me today that maybe some ABA would be helpful. How does anxiety equal ABA? Why would you want to do ABA if a child is capable of working incidentally? I have an older child Sean who is almost 6 and does ABA. Believe me if I thought it was necessary I would want it for him, but it is not. I am upset that they would even suggest it. Why not give him the support he needs in the class he is in and help him that way, Brett would be so upset if they move him he has all his friends and has real friendships with his peers. Sorry to ramble I am just sooooo upset and my mind is going off in a million different directions. Sorry Denise

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
