Autism / Autism Spectrum Support Group
Autism is classified as a neurodevelopmental disorder which manifests itself in markedly abnormal social interaction, communication ability, patterns of interests, and patterns of behavior. Although the specific etiology of autism is unknown, many researchers suspect that autism results from genetically mediated vulnerabilities to environmental triggers.

Just tell me where this residential school is and I'm packing up my 13 YO son and shipping him to ya, LOL!!!
He's been a bear lately. Doesn't wanna get up, talks back in a rude manner (very unusual until he got to middle school) and just flat ignores me and does what he wants to do most days.
It's annoying and I truly am ready for a residential school. Where is it located???
I would NOT want to be far away from my son and I'm not saying I'm joking, but I'm not totally serious yet, either. But, today, of all days, I could have sent him to TinBuckTwo if it would have helped him with his attitude.

...Its great to have you onboard. We need more people like you who want to help us and our kids
If your child's IEP is NOT being followed I'd suggest that you ask for another meeting and inquire just why they are NOT following your child's IEP. Be the squeaky wheel.
A school district canNOT make an agreement about your child's education and then simply ignore it.
You didn't say much more about it so it's hard to say based on what you wrote.
