I have arthritis in my shoulder which causes a great deal of pain - have it all over but that's the worst place. I can't take the anti-inflamatories - they make my legs swell from the knee down and can't wear shoes. I do take advil but it just barely takes the edge off - so now I'm taking 5mg of prednisone - which takes my pain level from 8 down to 4 which is tolerable - knowing my bones are being destroyed - I do take Fosamax and Advair 500/50, Singular, Avapro, Beconase aq,Verapamil, Klor-con - so I'm really maxed out on meds - is there something for pain that I'm missing??? I'm thinking of going to a pain specialist for somekind of block on the shoulder but at this point I'm concerned about a reaction. Most of my asthma triggers are chemical.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
