Asthma Support Group
Asthma is a disease of the human respiratory system where the airways narrow, often in response to a "trigger" such as exposure to an allergen, cold air, exercise, or emotional stress. This airway narrowing causes symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing, which respond to bronchodilators.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I think it depends on what the causes of your asthma/allergies are. Consult your doctor for what is best for you.
Do you have an air purifier running? That might help too.
Identifying your triggers is probably your first step. If you can do that, you'll be ahead of the game.
Please keep close and let us know how you do.
Ask your doctor about a nebulizer and using duoneb medication in it.
Also ask about the temporary use of steroids.
Another thing you an ask about is Singulair.
Be sure to directly ask your doctor about these and other options.
Please post what happens.
