I am new to this site. I have never been asthmatic, and was diagnosed with asthmatic bronchitis in January - prescribed antibiotics and medication for my cough. My symptoms: sudden cough which wouldn't stop and a running nose. The cough was originally dry and because "looser" and headaches where I though my head would explode.
Eight days ago, I once again became sick with the same symptoms. This time, I refused antibiotics as I have a hard time understanding why I would need them and was prescribed Qvar. I am taking an over the counter medication for my running nose and a nasal spray. I was then told I will need to see a Pulmonologist for further treatment. I did (both times) go to an emergicare center as I cannot find a good general doc.
I am almost 50 years old, pride myself on not getting sick often, and now this? I don't even know what to tell my boss, friends, or co-workers. I have never taken off this much time from work either. Thank goodness, my boss is a wonderful one. Nevertheless, this is overwhelming and confusing.
Any feeback would be truly appreciated.

I would like my doctor to be specialised in lungs so I feel like I'm working with someone who really knows how to care for me not someone who just does everything. Any ideas on what kind of doctor I should see?

I really wanted to get remarried but now I see that it is not going to happen, because every time I step in the same pile of crap. Just different circumstances. I went to therapy. I read...
