My Career and Life Management Teacher at high school said today, while we are studying addiction, that asthma is just and addiction to the adrenalin produced by fighting for every breath, and it is then made worse by the addiction to rescue inhalers. That sounds to me like she is saying asthma is fake. When I said "Or maybe it's just a serious medical condition", she said "no". How should I approach her to educate her on asthma? I don't know about you folks, but I personally hate not being able to breathe, and hate having to use my rescue inhaler. Help!
