Months ago I was told that my son had aspergers. First he had a developmental assessment and then he was seen by the psychologist which confirmed it was aspergers he is 9 years old. Now here is the thing the psychologist sent a letter to the school stating what they confirmed. The school said children that have aspergers are high functioning children with very high reading levels.. My son is not doing well in school at all or his behavior with the kids constantly picking on him.Is that true? did I miss reading something on aspergers?
