my daughter is going to be tested for AS, She really struggles with social issues, and anytime I try to talk to her and help she of course get's very upset and will not talk, she says there is nothing wrong with her it is everyone else. anyway I have read books and maybe I just needto reread them but how can I help her and encourage her to be the best she can be and succeed at home as well as school, withiut her really realizing I am. she told me she did not want any docters or people helping her it was her life, she is only 12 and we are coming into this dx. a little late.we have been strugglingwith her since she was 4 so we are at a bad age anyway.let alone when they have a issue like AS. I know I need to give her all the support and love and justbe there for her but what else if anything can I do/ school is my main concern, thank you,
