Has anyone here with AS ever gotten any usefullness out of using sign language? Just curious because when my son was much younger, I would have liked for us both to learn sign because he would often insist on only using his own brand of sign language to convey things, and how he linked what he was thinking to some of those odd gesstures is beyond me. My friend that works as a sped teacher did use the sign for "no" with him when she needed to silently correct him, and it worked.
