My daughter who is 12 and recently diagnosed with aspergers has had a hard time in school, she seems unhappy and confused, Im moving her to a smaller school on monday, she is not accepting it and begs me not to do it, its tearing me apart, I know its right for her, she has been there once and says she detests it.
Today she has burnt her arms with an aerosol spray, she has little blisters from holding it there. Why could she be doing thi?, is she harming herself, would it be because of moving her school?
I asked her why she did it and she dont know.

It may have been a true accident??? Lots of times Jimmy does things that he says he does not remember, maybe he does not, but mostly I think he says that to not get into trouble. When he was younger he use to hit his head against the wall sometimes, but honestly I think it was more soothing than harming himself. Watch her, make sure she is using things properly and not just experimenting with things, kids will be kids even AS children.....Change is hard, hopefully when she gets use to the new school things will calm down, had a hard time with that as well, took us almost a yr for him to get use to the new school and finally except it and do well there, even though he had a horrible time at the old school...Hang in there I know it is so emotionally draining....Good luck!

A deep longing accompaniedby the deepest Love some days. The heavy fog mayreturn and the next day, it may recede.Once again, it's...

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
