Does anyone's child with Asperger's take Risperdal? What are their ages and dosages? My son was diagnosed yesterday and will begin his medication today. What has been your experience with this medication? Thank you for your time. God bless.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
if you want any more information please contact me. also when he starts if there are any side effects just ask me if i suffered with them and i will be more than happy to help.
I don't think it really had any side effects, but I know he was taking a teeny tiny dose... also, it didn't help him.
We have USED like everything to help with his moods, and My son is 13 now and taking lamictal, along with (melatonin to sleep) and strattera.
So far this combo is working ok.
Good luck!

She's currently on Concerta, Celexa in the mornings and now Risperdone at night. I have noticed her not blowing up as much, helping around the house a little more, and generally less cranky and overwhelmed overall.
I'm just crossing my fingers and still looking for an effective counseling group. She's on her fourth and they know that just talking to her isn't doing the trick.
Good luck to you as well....
