My son was diagnosed with Aspergers about three weeks ago. For about the last 3 years he has been a Pokemon fanatic! He can tell you allll about it. What type Pokemon they all are, what the evolve from and to and which ones are legendary. He mostly plays the games on his Game Boy. Well last week I was researching Aspergers and came across something interesting. The creator of Pokemon was diagnosed with AS a few years ago. I am a hairstylist and I work in a kids salon. I have quite a few autistic kids that come in on a regular basis. Well I was watching Pokemon with one of my kiddos last week and kinda tuned in. I heard ASH, who is a Pokemon trainer on the show, say Oh that Pokemon doesn't like to be touched unexpectedly or hugged! I was kinda stunned to hear it. Maybe it is just a creative way that he deals with his AS, I thought it was kinda cool. A friend of mine suggested Psychological warfare.. LOL... Any thoughts?

I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
