my son is 5 yrs old and was recently diagnosed with AS, bipolar, ADHD and OCD. ( november 1st, 2007) He is having a really hard time in school. He hates noise, and often wears headphones to lessen the problem. the problem is, he comes home to me crying about the noise and how he hates the playground and the lunch room.( he also refuses to do p.e. and any other "loud" activity) But when i bring up the issue to his teacher or his school nurse, they tell me he is active and social. ( which wasn't the case when they did the evaluation for the doctor.) I am torn about what to do for him. The school is doing an evaluation for an iep, but i worry that they aren't truely listening to him. I don't know if i should fight for special education for him, because he needs the social help a regular class can give. But i don't want him hating school and coming home distraught everyday. ( expecially since he is only in kindergarten). what do you guys think? has anyone else ever gone through with this? I actually have watched him break down and cry on the playground because i am leaving him at school. ( he has never had seperation anxiety... and when he was in daycare he stressed so much he refused to eat.)

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
