Anyone have any solutions to keeping a wandering 15 year old at home during the day when his mom is working? She gets so scared. He'll take off and be gone for hours and she doesn't know where he is. She has a brain tumor and some other physical problems which take most of her strength. We've thought of double deadbolt locks (the grandmother is home in case the door needs to be unlocked - she's just no help in controlling him) or maybe GPS of some sort. He has cellphone but uses up the minutes too quickly and his mom can't afford to keep paying for more. Any associations we can turn to? We're a little desparate right now. Today's another day he's missing and we don't know where he is.
