My son has often brought this topic up time and time again. He says that he is great at forgetting OR that he sometimes has a hard time remembering things. I know that he picks up things very quickly, but retaining them is a matter of question unless we go over it again and again. This I believe is part of the nature of AS. I just believe it depends on what the topic is. He never forgets anything that deals with math. But, spelling or how to pronounce certain words seem to escape him sometimes even though I know he has studied it and aced tests before. I am truly amazed how his mind works. However, I know he gets frustrated at not being able to remember things. I've told him that everyone forgets things. I just don't know how to address this or how to work on this with him. Is there some sort of intervention that we can do? I know he has a tough time with names, but then so do I =P. I'm just curious what if anything we can do to help to alleviate some of this frustration.
Thanks in advance.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
