I live in the UK and I am currently trying to get into a good school.
I dropped out of school in Year 7 (American Grade 6) due to problems which I later found out were pretty much all down to my Aspergers Syndrome. I only got diagnosed in December last year (14 years old) and with this new information at hand, me and my parents are trying to get me into a school that can cater for me...so that I can complete some sort of an education.
Obviously, the first main issue is finding a school.
The second, getting into said school.
The third, any funding/legal issues (quite possibly concerning government funding).
We are open to moving towards a school, and I don't mind weekly boarding. I am high-functioning, but after staying inside for practically 3 years straight (I only really leave the house once or twice a month...and that is a very recent thing)...plus many other issues including severe depression, possible bipolar disorder (not diagnosed, but it's been mentioned by a private doctor) and mild tourettes...there are a lot of issues and problems to take into consideration.
Any advice and input will be very welcome as me and my family are getting hugely desperate and are at a complete loss as to what to do.

I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...

I've never heard of a charter school, but that sounds like an interesting idea, do you have any additional information on it?
