My AS son got glasses in October. They of course get stretched out and out of shape and we have to have them tightened. But since he has gotten glasses we have noticed he shakes his head. My husband and parents have asked me about this. He did not do this before, I think it's a sensitivity issue to how the glasses are or aren't placed on the bridge of his nose. Any ideas or thoughts? He doesn't have any tics or anything. Doesn't really do any flapping or anything like that. Used to chew on his shirt collar and lips. Is it a possible stim I should watch for or probably just the sensory defense because they aren't in a comfortable position? I don't want to read more into something so simple.
