My husband has many features of the aspergers syndrome. he is very very clever, lacks empathy, and many other things. He loves heavy metal music, my counsellor (who suggested this diagnosis to me) says that is the only thing that is not typical of a high acheiving asperergers. Could he still have aspergers. I don't know if he would accept this diagnosis but it would make a lot of sense of all the problems we have had in our marriage. I would be the opposite of an aspergers so we have caused each other a lot of stress.
