My Aspie son is in the 8th grade. Today he came home and said a kid started a rumor about him at lunch and it spread quickly. He dealt with the backlash all afternoon. He has a very difficult time "letting things go" especially because he is always concerned about the truth. What do I do? Tried contacting admin but what can they do, once a rumor has spread the damage is done? Sometimes I think verbal bullying is even worse than physical.
