Hello again, and again, I am new here, but I am wondering if any of you have children with AS who also have Tourettes Syndrome? I have been noticing (more and more lately - though it's been this way for so long...) that my AS daughter is CONSTANTLY swearing, using the "sh" words and the "f" words, and the "GD-it" words, and as an estimate, I would say almost 100 times a day - I mean, literally, almost every time she speaks there is foul language. I am wondering, if any of you have experience with AS children who also have Tourettes, how did you know that it was Tourettes? I mean, I know that being AS, she doesn't understand that these words are socially unacceptable, and we do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to minimize her hearing them (we don't use them in front of her - if at all) or in the media. But, this behavior continues. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
