Hi, I'm Amanda. I have a seventeen year old brother who has asperger's syndrome, and I joined this group to learn more about it and ask for advice if i need some. I've already looked it up a bit, but I still don't fully understand it. A few years ago my parents told my older sister, who's fifteen now, that Dan has asperger's, but they didn't really tell us much about it. Mostly I just hear my mom talking on the phone about it and get my facts about Dan from there. But I was just wondering a few things. Today I was going downstairs and I heard Dan hit his head or something and he said, "Shit!" So I asked what happened but he got all defensive and was like, "Nothing!" He was being pretty nice to me earlier, so now I'm kinda confused. Is this just a normal sibling thing, or does it have to do with Asperger's?
