Asperger; ADHD; help with eating

Or should I say NOT EATING. 10 year old diagnosed with AS and ADHD, was recently placed on the "patch" for the ADHD, and it is helping tremendously. The main side effect is lack of appetite. He was never much of an eater, and now has lost his desire to eat at all! He is so thin it scares me, the doctor said not to worry, he is healthy. But....the doctor is not his parent, so we worry. Any advise or similar situations?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Hope this little tidbit helps. Hang in there. It's taken us a while to figure it out for our son. Our doctors also told us he was doing fine.
I buy the big container of Carnation Instant Breakfast mix. I place about 2-3 scoops of ice cream (I don't have a large scooper), the mix, and enough mix to get the right consistency. I give it to my son as a bedtime snack and then have him brush his teeth. He's not much of a breakfast person. But, just in the last week or two, he's suddenly liking french toast and continuing to drink this. So, it helps knowing he's getting something good into his system for school.
School lunches are another story, plain bread with a few meat slices, graham crackers, tortilla chips and chocolate milk. Same thing every day just about. Fruit is is downfall. But, he will eat a few types.
I found a great book called "Deceptively Delicious" By Jessica Seinfield - Jerry Seinfield's wife. It's about steaming and pureeing veggies and such and putting them in your everyday meals so your children get the nutrition they need. They don't taste it but, they get the benefits of it. But, I also feel as she mentions that a Mom should put the veggies still on the plate so they get used to them. But, for out picky eaters, it is another way to help. I thought I would pass this on to you as well. I saw this on Oprah and had to buy the book. I've tried a few recipes (like brownies) and my son couldn't tell the difference.
