As I've been reading the boards, I notice so many people saying their kids are focused or obsessed with one thing. My son is the opposite. He wants to learn about practically everything and anything and he can't focus to much on any one thing. It's not ADD, because when he decides on learning something, he does. However, once he learns all he thinks he needs to, he moves on and never comes back to it. It's hard to get him into a hobby or anything because once he gets the basics, he thinks he is done. Same at school, if he thinks he knows the answers, he won't bother trying to write it out and wants to be given harder work, which of course the teachers won't do because he hasn't proven he knows what he has already been given. Endless loop. Anybody else?

I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
