Okay, before anyone faints that I actually had time to read a book, let me preface by saying that my husband's psychologist just sent us two books in the mail. One was for us as a couple and one for him.
The one for us is called "Asperger's and the Long-Term Relationship". I read it straight through last night and couldn't put it down. It has so many great insights and suggestions for both the Aspie and the NT partner.
The one for him (which I intend to read also) is called "Pretending to be Normal". I will let you know what I think of that one later.
Anyone else found any great books?

since we're on the subject of great books, i am currently just finishing the book 'aspergers and the elementry experiance'. it is the most comprehensive book i have read on behavior management and treatments in elementry school. there is a whole chapter on melt downs! and it's an easy read. i plan to donate this book to my sons teacher, and will buy a few extra coppies so i can give his future teachers one also.

Another great book on the subject is called "American Normal". If you know of anyother books please message me!

"Pretending to be Normal" is so good also. The first section is about this lady's life as a child with Asperger's and it reminded me so much of what my daughter does. She also talked about her thought processes and how she views things as an aspie.

About a year ago, I got a book for my daughter called "I Am Utterly Unique" (for kids with HFA and Asperger's Syndrome). It is an alphabet book with phrases related to being on the spectrum which shows some positive traits about having HFA and AS. My daughter loves it as does her little sister. It's very colorful also...a great little kids book!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
