My son turned 14 last week and along with the ten scene he is also experiencing the hormonal changes that go along with it, including excessive sweating and body odor. I make sure he's showered and clean, that his clothes are clean, that he's wearing either deodorant or cologne or both depending and I even got some grooming/hygiene stuff for him to keep in his locker at school. Nothing seems to help at this point and this is what I'm wondering. My ex-husband is a type 2 diabetic and when he was our son's age, he went through all of this and more. The two of them could break into a cold sweat in the middle of Antarctica! Jordan has never been officially diagnosed with diabetes but he shows traits of diabetes and I see things going on with him that his dad has gone through and I wonder if diabetes or diabetes tendencies can contribute to excessive sweating and body odor?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
