I have pain in both of my feet and aching. It seems to get worse in the evening, and when I am trying to sleep. It did not come on suddenly, I had about 3 weeks of cramp and pain in both feet and now the pain is almost constant, and quietly driving me nuts. I am finding it hard to stand and walk as the pain is making me very uneasy on my feet, and my balance is poor. I suffer with high arches under my feet, and have Pes Cavus (Claw Feet). I know I have oesteo arthritis in both feet, but never had this sort of pain before. Can anyone suggest to me what they think may be wrong, as my doctor is not very good and just tells me to get on with it.

I just came from the chiropracter and was complaining about pain in my feet that comes and goes. He asked if it started with cramping and i realized i hah had leg and foot cramps for a while. he told me it was a mineral deficiency and gave me some minerals to take. Maybe this could help you and you can ask someone knowledgeable at your health food store. Doctors tend to dismiss what they think are minor symptoms, in my experience. Also, have you tried saking feet in hot water with Epsom Salts. What is Claw Feet?

Thank you for all your replies, it is much appreciated. In reply to your question Norak, claw feet otherwise known as PES CAVUS is where the feet become mishapen, and go claw shaped. I have oesteo arthritis in both feet anyway, since a child when the Orthapedic Specialist built up my feet by putting insoles in both shoes to heighten my then flat feet, however they did not monitor me properly and my feet went to the other extreme where they are now too high and inverted. What minerals did the doctor give you please, I can see then if I can get some.

I also have pain in my feet like you discribed. I went to a foot and ankle specialist, and he said that theres a form of neuropathy you develope in your feet when your step in off due to arthritis. I hobble due to severe arthritis in both ankles. I now wear these pads that go in your shoe where the ball of your foot goes and it helps with the pain. You can buy these in the foot care section at your pharmacy, and Dr. Sholl's makes them. Hope this helps, Bonnie

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
