Recently I started working as an idustrial sewer, making hurrican shutters out of very heavy, still leather-like fabric that will withstand 400 mile an hour winds. I had no idea how much upper body strength this would take! Plus, my hands ache sooo badly because of the fairly severe arthritis I have in them. I found out that support gloves that I bought at Walmart help some, but does anyone know what else I can do to help my poor hands? I'm also a portrait artist, and it's making it difficult to draw now.
