I was diagnosed with AS in August. I was also diagnosed with Crohn's disease and Psoriatic arthritis. I've been doing research and Im finding that I'm getting very confused. Everything I read says AS is related to a gene marker called HLA-B27. The DR said I dont have that gene but because i have the other 2 disaeses its possible. Should I believe him or go some place else? Is there anyone else out there who has this disaese that doesn't have the gene marker? please let me know.
