This may be long and I thank anyone in advance for responding...My daughter is now 12 years old but was diagnosed with Jra 2 yrs ago.She started complaining about her fingers and toes hurting. We mentioned it to her pediatrician who said if it happened again to bring her back that it was a sign of Jra.She kept complaining so we brought her back, within two weeks she was seen by a pediatric rheum. and given a diagnosis(poly Jra)She had it in multiple joint but really only complained about her fingers and toes. She was put on naproxen, had pt and we did different things at home to alleviate her discomfort.Long story short she has never been pain free and I wonder if others have had the same?she was able to come off the naproxen last winter and did better but over the summer she seems to have gone into a flare. She is being seen again this month.I get the feeling that the dr thinks that if she doesnt have swelling she shouldnt be in any pain. She never lets it stop her and she doesnt like to talk about it but if I ask her she says it always hurts just sometimes more than others(like now she has visible swelling and is back on meds).Just wondering if any one can relate. It has been two years but as I am sure anyone dealing with something like this would know,it still feels new.Any input would be appreiated.Thank You for your time. ~Heather~

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
