I have mitral valve prolapse and something else where my impulses reroute back to the node. I see a cardiologist Sept. 30th for more information on it. Anyhow I have mood swings, anxiety, panic attacks, chronic fatigue, depression, chest pain and irritability. Has anyone with the same symptoms as me benefitted from taking heart meds such as beta blockers? I have my hopes up that a heart med will be all I need as I am hesitant to take mood stabilizers and anticonvulsants. I read exercise is the best treatment for MVP but that's about a joke! Do they realize how fatigued we already are. Not to mention depression doesn't exactly motivate a person. Please let me know what has helped for you.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
