I had a catheter ablation done on the 11th of Oct....stayed overnight in the hospital and went home the following day. I had an echo done before i left...there is a spot on my heart that the doc. didn't know what it was..said it could be a bruise from the procedure. So, i went yesterday for an mri and it lasted 2 hours...the doctor told me it was not a bruise from the procedure and that the mri specialist would read my results and he'd call me by monday. I am alittle worried about this now not knowing what it could be...he did mention thickening of the heart muscle while i was still in the hospital, but he wasn't sure that's what it was either....i am scared of what this might be....maybe nothing, but it still frightens me...anyone ever heard of this? Any advice???
