I am due to see my neurosurgeon in early Feb to schedule my surgery date and I just don't know what to expect as far as recovery time. At this point I do not know if I will have the decompression surgery or the craniectomy surgery. I just had some further tests to determine whether or not I have a tethered cord. I will not get the results back until the Feb. appointment. How long of a recovery period have any of you had with surgery? I know there can be a number of things to determine that but I am just trying to get an idea...I have three small boys to continue to raise and I am trying to be as prepared as possible!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips.
