My neurologist told me that my ACM isn't what is causing my symptoms. He also was not worried about me developing a syrinx. He only did an MRI of my head. I've read that if you have ACM you should have an MRI done of your spine to check for a syrinx. I am really worried about this but my doctor doesn't seem to be. Is anyone else in this situation? If so what did you do? I just think that if I go to a different neurologist they will tell me the same thing because this is the second one I have been to that has said this.
